James is the founder and principal of Grucon Consulting Ltd. He has over two decades of global expertise in managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. In 2023, James returned from Australia to Europe, where his industry connections and insights into the data center sector led him to establish Grucon Consulting Ltd. The company has since grown rapidly, driven by its focus on delivering high-quality service and exceeding client expectations in the hyperscale data center industry.

Rob trained as a Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) and supplemented his experience by completing a MSc in Construction Law from the University of Melbourne. He has led commercial teams on large scale, multi $bn projects across traditional and digital infrastructure sectors (approx. 900 MW) across EMEA and APAC markets including, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea and India. In 2024, Rob returned to Europe from Australia where he joined forces with James to create the end to end project management and commercial advisory business that Grucon is known for today. Having worked for large infrastructure contractors, developers, lenders and public sector clients, Rob is highly experienced in project economics, capex, contracts and project delivery strategies across markets and sectors.

Scott and James first worked together on Scott’s very first project after graduating from university. Many years later, Scott joined Grucon as our first full-time employee - a partnership that has come full-circle. Scott is a delivery-driven Project Executive with over 10 years of international experience in design and construction projects. He has achieved exceptional outcomes in large-scale mission-critical, residential, and commercial projects across Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Mainland Europe. He possesses proven leadership skills, excelling in guiding diverse, high-performing teams and fostering effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Liam brings a unique blend of technical understanding and management capability to his role. With early career experience in the field, he quickly progressed into broader leadership positions where he has successfully guided multidisciplinary teams across high-value data centre programmes. His strength lies in anticipating challenges, improving efficiency, and driving delivery certainty for clients.
